Turkey v Chinese Taipei

Turkey are looking to lock up second place in Group A as they take on Chinese Taipei in a match-up of U17 Worlds first-timers. Turkey dropped their last game against mighty United States but are 1-1 going into their final group contest. If they can win and USA beat Egypt, the Turks would grab second place. Chinese Taipei have not won in two tries in Zaragoza.

United States v Egypt

Three-time reigning champions United States can lock up first place in Group A with a victory over African champions Egypt. The Americans go into the game at 2-0 while Egypt are 1-1 with the momentum of having beaten Chinese Taipei in their last game.

Mali v Lithuania

Mali go looking for more after grabbing their first U17 Worlds victory over Argentina, but things will be tougher against Lithuania. Both teams are 1-1 in the Group B and the winner will take second place should Spain beat Argentina in the other group game. Lithuania hope to rebound from their tight loss to Spain.

Argentina v Spain

Spain will secure first place in Group B with a victory over winless Argentina. The hosts fought off Lithuania in a battle of European giants to improve to 2-0. Argentina dropped their second straight game against Mali and will take last place unless the South Americans can surprise the Spanish.

Australia v Finland

After losing a battle with Canada to start the U17 Worlds, the two-time finalists Australia lost to China and now take on Finland in search of their first victory in in Group C in Zaragoza. The debutants Finland were overwhelmed by Canada after having beaten China in their opener. If Canada beat China and Australia win, there would be a three-way tie for second to fourth place.

China v Canada

Canada look to complete their perfect run in Group C as they take on China. The Canadians rolled past Finland to improve to 2-0 while China were convincing against Australia in jumping to 1-1.

France v Dominican Republic

France aim to build on the momentum of their convincing victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina as they face winless Dominican Republic. The French beat the Bosnians by 29 points for their first win and could still take first place. The Dominicans played better against Korea than in their U17 Worlds debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina. But they still go into the game as underdogs.

Bosnia and Herzegovina v Korea

By winning their first two games at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship, Korea not only have grabbed first place of Group D but also collected more victories in two attempts in Zaragoza than at the 2010 and 2012 U17 Worlds combined. Korea went 0-7 in 2010 and 1-6 in 2012 and now can lock up first place if they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Bosnians are thinking rebound after losing to France by 29 points in falling to 1-1 in the group.
