Tickets on sale for 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships for Men and Women

ZARAGOZA (2016 FIBA U17 World Championships for Men and Women) - Tickets have gone on sale for the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships for Men and Women taking place in Zaragoza, Spain from 22 June-3 July.

It is the first time the tournaments are played jointly, as part of a youth world basketball festival. This comes after FIBA endorsed the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB)'s proposal of having a unique and innovative sporting event that combines all the elements most attractive to youth basketball players - competition, fun, shared experience, music and technology.

The 32 best U17 national teams from around the world - 16 men's and 16 women's - will combine to play a total of 112 games in the venues of Siglo XXI and Municipal de Utebo over a period of 12 days.

Day tickets can be had for as little as €3, while a tournament pass - covering all games across both the men's and women's competitions - is available from €35 (€15 for people under the age of 17). Passes for the Final Phase (Round of 16 onwards) are priced at €10 (€5 for people under the age of 17). All ticket types can be purchased by sending an e-mail to ticketingU17@feb.es.

The 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships for Men and Women and side events will be organised jointly by FIBA, the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) and the Spanish National Sport Council (CSD), with the collaboration of Aragonese Basketball Federation (FAB), Zaragoza City Council (through Zaragoza Sports institution), Utebo City Council and Aragon Autonomous Government.
