Cook Islands bags Women's Polynesian Cup Gold Medal

APIA, Samoa (Women's Polynesian Cup 2018) - The Cook Islands romps its way to the Gold medal with a perfect 4-0 record punctuated by a dominating 91-58 win over Tahiti in the final.

Kezaiah-Brittany Lewis led the way with 22 points while Terai Sadler grabbed 13 rebounds including six offensive rebounds.

"We didn't know what to expect coming in here, so to come away with the Gold is awesome," said Sadler "We're proud to represent the Cook Islands and make everyone back home proud,"

The ladies in green dominated the glass with a massive 71-33 rebounding advantage that led to 23 more attempts.

The Cook Islands, Tahiti, and host Samoa will represent the Polynesia region in the 2019 Pacific Games.
