Vote for the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 mascot!

MUNICH (FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019) - Have your say on who should be honored with the role of official mascot for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019. Every vote counts!

Pick and Roll

Designed by Zadrga (Slovenia)

A pair of cool cats from Latvia and Serbia. Around their neighborhoods they are known as fierce competitors who at the same time always have each other's back. Their rivalry started when they were just kittens playing with a yarn ball, which later led to their love of basketball, never wasting a minute to play. Pick is the cheeky one of the two, often pushing the limits on the court, while Roll is cool headed, usually in control of the situation. Together they make the puuurrrfect team, excited to get the fans on their feet at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019!

Swisha

Designed by Works (England)

Swisha is named after the magical sound of the swish – the purest basket of all! Famed for her legendary skills and prowess of the game, Swisha's name epitomizes her natural skill, dedication to practice and for perfecting the art of the ultimate 'hoop'.

Swisha hails from a great European storytelling tradition, where Baltic and Slavic folklore stories are filled with strong celestial female connections. This story contains elements of mystical folklore with a modern intergalactic twist, Swisha becomes an extension of the existing brand assets. She is the Star Guardian of the tournament's champions crown. Sent from a distant star to deliver the FIBA Women's EuroBasket crown to the champions of the tournament, Swisha's accessory - a mystical staff, has been forged on her home star to harness the values of basketball and team spirit and serves to inspire and lead a new generation of players and fans. She creates connections between the two countries, the four host cities, the 16 teams and with the fans. With its mystical powers, the staff works as a portal opener between the four host cities, touching it down on the court four times, illuminating a portal which she uses to bounce between the host cities.

Bounce

Designed by Works (England)

Bounce spent years in the forests of Europe between Latvia and Serbia, typical of a lynx's routine she spent much of her time living a solitary life, only observing from afar. One summer's night everything changed, when she saw two shooting stars cross in the night sky above, one from the direction of Latvia and one from the direction of Serbia, some magic took hold which transformed her markings from spots to stars and along with it gave her a newfound confidence to leave the forest and learn as much about the world around her as possible. Being a natural athlete with a leap of up to seven meters (twenty-three feet) in one bound, and possessing phenomenal eyesight, Bounce decided basketball was the sport for her and the way to announce herself on the world stage. Inspired by her newfound confidence, she relished the teamwork and cooperation involved in basketball. She left the forests with a crown carved from the ancient Baltic mountain woodlands and shaped by the strong Balkan stone; this crown would become the best example of the sport she could find. All of this is documented through her Kat Glass which she uses to record the action and relay to her social media channel SnapKat.
