Who could break the Women's EuroBasket single-game rebounding record?

STRASBOURG/ VALENCIA (France / Spain) - There have been some outstanding displays on the glass by many players at past editions of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket.

Looking back from the 1995 edition onwards, when data was first available in this category, the game-high list is intriguing because it shows that five of the top six rebounding performances were during the last two tournaments.

The three-way tie at the top with 21 boards includes the late Margo Dydek, a FIBA Hall of Fame member, but also two players who may well get the chance to appear on the list again and maybe beat their own high tide marks. Maria Vadeeva will lead Russia and Quanitra Hollingsworth could be handed the naturalized spot for Turkey. If she doesn't get the nod, then it will be Kiah Stokes, who is also on the list for her 19-rebound haul two years ago.

In the fan vote below, you have the opportunity to predict which players taking to the floor in Strasbourg and Valencia could be the best candidates to smash it on the glass.

Both Vadeeva and Hollingsworth are likely to be back to try and beat their own milestones, with Russia and Turkey respectively. Meanwhile Marica Gajic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is getting ready to debut at the Women's EuroBasket and she was the best rebounder during the Qualifiers - or you may prefer to select someone else.
