Ukraine: Iagupova ready to lead the way

KIEV (Ukraine) - Ukraine  will head to the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 looking to make their deepest run in the competition in recent memory after naming an intriguing final roster.

Headlined by the phenomenal scoring talent of Alina Iagupova who is potential game-winner in any contest, she will provide a big offensive threat both sides of the three-point line.

Ukraine roster for FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019
Arina Bilotserkivska Vita Horobets Alina Iagupova Viktoriya Kondus
Olesia Malashenko Liudmyla Naumenko Anna Olkhovyk Oleksandra Radulovic
Taisiia Udodenko  Miriam Uro-Nile Olga Yatskovets  Vladyslava Voloshyna

Thankfully head coach Goran Boskovic can count on other capable performers to show Ukraine are not a one-player team. Iagupova will will be supported by a  quality forward line, including Olesia Malashenko and Taisiia Udodenko, the latter shining  brightly at the last edition. Liudmyla Naumenko has also been on fire and comes into the summer having shot the ball well in the Turkish League.

Meanwhile veteran star Oleksandra Radulovic is also back on board and that will help enormously, with Ukraine missing the EuroLeague Women experience of the absent D'Andra Moss.

Ukraine will compete against Great Britain, co-hosts Latvia and reigning champions, Spain.
