Sweden: Final roster confirmed
STOCKHOLM (Sweden) – There will be an extra buzz among those Swedish fans heading to the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 after head coach Francois Gomez decided on his final roster for the event.
As anticipated, the list is packed with EuroLeague and EuroCup Women big-hitters such as twins Elin and Frida Eldebrink, who will do the business in the backcourt, while WNBA center Amanda Zahui will go to work on the glass.

Farhiya Abdi offers incredible athleticism and will make her debut along with Zahui, while there is also a first ever Final Round for recent WNBA draftee Regan Magarity and teenage rising star Klara Lundquist.
There is a more familiar core of names in the main rotation with the likes of Louice Halvarsson, Danielle Hamilton-Carter, Binta Drammeh and Kalis Loyd all back on board as Sweden prepare to tackle Czech Republic, France and Montenegro during the opening Group stage.
Sweden are also one of only two nations (the other Great Britain) who did not feature at the last edition of the tournament back in 2017.
