FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 launches creative campaign 'Nothing Beats Like It'

SYDNEY (Australia) - The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 has launched its creative campaign 'Nothing Beats Like It' for its biggest women's event next year in Sydney.

The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Local Organizing Committee has assigned communications and advertising giants Saatchi & Saatchi to spearhead the marketing campaign. Saatchi & Saatchi have been tasked with delivering an engrossing and engaging campaign titled 'Nothing Beats Like It' to excite the basketball community, and reach new fans.

'Nothing Beats Like It' captures the energy and excitement of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, which will feature many of the game's best players. As basketball has its own exhilarating soundtrack, from the ball bouncing on the court, shoes squeaking on the varnished floor to the echo of cheering fans - the energetic tempo of the vision of the campaign fits perfectly.

The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup will be held from Thursday 22 September to Saturday 1 October 2022 at Sydney Olympic Park in Sydney, Australia.

The World Cup field itself will be made up of hosts Australia, Olympic champions USA and 10 other countries that will clinch berths in FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournaments to be staged in Belgrade (Serbia), Osaka (Japan) and Washington, D.C. (USA) from February 10 to 13. Belgrade will host two qualifying tournaments, while Osaka and Washington, D.C. will each stage one event.

The campaign will appear in the lead-up to and during the event.
