    Photography workshop (Korean Photographers)

    ASIA - The FIBA Regional Office in Asia is committed to developing new basketball photographers across Asia to increase the pool of photographers and improve the quality of photos in the region. With these online workshops, the Regional Office will be able to continue working towards that commitment even in the current circumstances of inconvenience. This online workshop is a continuation to the online workshop conducted on May 7 2020.

    Online Social Media meeting + Case studies

    5 June, 20:00

    ASIA - BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The meeting, which was held online via Zoom, was an opportunity for the social media coordinators and the Communications Department to discuss the road map for the social media work of the National Federations. Furthermore, the participants were able to get acquainted with one another and share their experiences and struggles.

    In addition, two case studies were presented during the meeting as social media success stories. The Iran Basketball Federation (IRIBF) presented about @IRIBF growth on Instagram while the National Basketball Federation of Kazakhstan (NBF) presented the success of the “Steppen Wolves are back” campaign.

    FIBA Africa launches photographers’ webinar courses

    May 28, 2020 

    AFRICA -FIBA Africa has embarked on an online photographers' course that is bringing together men and women behind cameras from across the continent to share with them more tips on how to take beautiful pictures celebrating the hoops game.

    A total of 66 photographers from the French-speaking part of Africa attended the first course moderated by the FIBA Africa Head of Photography Mohamed Talal and another session will be done with the English-speaking photographers.

    Photography Workshop

    FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers Media and Communications workshop

    ASIA - The purpose of these workshops is to brief the National Federations, who didn’t organize home games in the first window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers, about the Communications and Media requirements, including media operations, media accreditation, post-game press conference live-stream, digital and social media.
