Argentina to enter final stage of preparation phase with 16-player preliminary list
BUENOS AIRES (Argentina) – With 20 days left for the start of the FIBA U16 Americas Championship, Argentina will enter on May 16 its final preparation stage for the continental championship.
The final stage of preparation will be divided in two phases and will feature 16 players.

The team will first meet in Lomas de Zamora, and then move to the Centro Nacional de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo (CENARD) where the final roster will be decided.
The team coached by Juan Gatti will be part of Group A and will start the continental competition against USA. The Argentinians will then face the Dominican Republic and Mexico to close-out the Group Phase.
The top-four teams from the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019 will qualify to the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2020.
