Tavernari annouces Brazil's preliminary roster for the South American U15 Championship
RIO DE JANEIRO (FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019) - Coach Thelma Tavernari announced the 22 players that compose Brazil’s preliminary roster for the South American U15 Championship 2018, from November 6-11 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

"We will have a greater number of players in the training phase, several players with a lot of height, we will see how the practices transpire, because we called at least three athletes with more than 2.00 meters," Tavernari said in the statement from the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB).
The group will begin its practices on October 14 at the Centro Olímpico de Treinamento da Aeronáutica (COTA), in Rio de Janeiro.
The South American U15 Championship will feature the participation of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The best three teams from the South American U15 Championship will qualify to the FIBA U16 Americas Championship 2019.
