MIES (Switzerland) - The FIBA U17 Skills Challenge 2020 Asian Qualifiers, taking place from August 14-15, features 10 national teams from Asia and Oceania competing for two tickets to the Global Challenge to be held later in August.

Day 2 - Saturday, August 15

Thailand and Mongolia punched Asia's two slots to the Global Challenge after topping West Asian duo Iran and Lebanon respectively. In the matchup between Iran and Thailand, both teams registered identical scores of 124, but Thailand got the upper hand, having scored more points from successfully completing shots and passes, as per the rules.
Mongolia meanwhile narrowly edged past Lebanon in the second game.

Day 1 - Friday, August 14

West Asian giants Iran and Lebanon topped their respective groups A and B with perfect 4-0 scores. Mongolia and Thailand also joined Iran and Lebanon in the Semi-Finals.  

It’s worth mentioning that Iran also set the best score of the day with 113.

Fiji forfeited their last matchup against Singapore.
