Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic perfect as eight Americas teams advance to Global Challenge
MIES (Switzerland) - Panama and Puerto Rico both went 4-0 at the Americas Qualifiers to take two of the eight spots through to the FIBA U15 Skills Challenge 2021.
Dominican Republic also won their group with three wins from three, while Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador, Venezuela and Virgin Islands were the other nations to advance.

Argentina defeated Colombia on the final day to ensure they clinched the second spot behind Panama in Group A with Puerto Rico dominant in their group as they recorded three impressive scores of 106, 109 and 101.
Venezuela and Guatemala followed them through from Group B, while Dominican Republic and Virgin Islands advanced from Group C alongside El Salvador, who claimed one of the two available spots to the best-ranked third-placed sides.

The eight teams join the 14 teams from the Asian and African Qualifiers at the global event with 10 remaining spots to be confirmed at the European Qualifiers from May 12-18, 2021.
