Career: Cleveland Cavaliers (USA-NBA, 2003-08)

What can’t LeBron James do on a court? Apparently not much. Named in 2007-08 All-NBA First Team, in his last four NBA seasons he has played in four NBA All-Star Games and captured MVP honors twice, in the 2006 and 2008 All-Star games. His amazing all-around abilities are obvious to anyone who cares to glance over his numbers for the past NBA season. Averaging a league leading 30.0 points a game, he also added career highs of 7.9 rpg. and 7.2 apg., while recording 1.8 spg. Additionally, LeBron shot a career high 48.4 percent from the field, and 31.5 percent from 3-point, and made 71.2 percent of his tries from the foul line. Possessing overflowing talents, at 19 years, seven months and 13 days old when the 2004 Olympics opened on Aug. 13, 2004, he became the youngest USA male basketball player to participate in the Olympics since Spencer Haywood in 1968 (Haywood was 19 years, five months and 26 days). Posting modest numbers in the 2004 Olympics of 5.4 ppg., 1.0 rpg., and 1.6 apg., and shooting 59.4 percent from the field, he returned in 2006 at the FIBA World Championship and ranked 19th overall in scoring averaging 13.9 points and listed fifth in assists passing for 4.1 a game, while also leading the U.S. squad in rebounding 4.8 rpg. One summer later, “King” James continued to make an impact in the international game, tallying a team second best 18.1 ppg., while adding 3.6 rpg., a team leading 4.7 apg., a team second best 1.5 spg., a team leading 22.2 minutes a game, while shooting a team second best 76.0 percent (73-96 FGs) from the field, a team second best 62.2 percent (23-37 3pt FGs) from 3-point, and 66.7 percent (12-18 FTs) from the foul line.
