Media Accreditation

All media representatives, both local and international, wishing to attend the the tournament must apply directly via the FIBA Media Portal.  

The application period opens on May 4, 2020 and closes on June 10, 2020.

The FIBA Media Portal is available in English, Chinese, French and Spanish. 

The submission of a media accreditation request will be possible after registration only. Should you already have an account, please use your email address and password to sign-in and select your event. 

We remind you that only professional members of the media will be considered for accreditation and that only applications completed and submitted online within the media accreditation application deadlines will be taken into consideration. 

DECISIONS 

Media accreditation decisions will be communicated as soon as possible after submission and no later than Monday, June 15, 2020.

Media credentials will be awarded on the basis of the professional history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability in the venues. 

FIBA will ultimately be responsible for the delivery of the accreditation decisions and distribution of badges for the event.

DO YOU NEED A VISA? 

A visa is an official document that allows the bearer to legally enter a foreign country. 

All members of the media that require a visa are responsible to apply themselves in their diplomatic mission/embassy in their respective country of residence. 

A visa invitation letter will be provided by the Local Organizing Committee whenever possible, only upon request and if requested to accreditation@fiba.basketball.
