Fan Vote: Who could break the Women's Olympic Basketball single-game rebounding record?

TOKYO (Japan) - There have been some towering displays on the glass at the Women's Olympic Basketball tournaments, with three players having claimed 20 boards or more in an individual game.

Looking back from the first edition in 1976 onwards, the phenomenal FIBA Hall of Fame member Uljana Semjonova of the Soviet Union is tied on the record high of 21 rebounds with Russia's Elena Baranova. In fact, both have multiple entries in the all-time list and that underlines their respective quality.

In our fan vote below, we want to hear from you which players heading to this year's edition could be the best candidates to fire themselves into the chart. Emma Meesseman of Belgium is often a colossus  on the glass and could be ready to rack up  big numbers, while A'Ja Wilson of the USA finished top of her team's chart at the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments last year.

Evelyn Akhator of Nigeria smashed it at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup three years ago and is always liable to pull down plenty of boards - as is the classy veteran, Sandrine Gruda of France. Finally what about Astou Ndour of Spain perhaps? The center was in the top four for rebounding at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Or, maybe you think someone else is better placed to make a spalsh on the glass - it's time to make your choice!
