Fiji and Tahiti advance to division B gold medal match

SUVA (FIBA U18 Women's Oceania Championship 2016) - Tahiti entered this game without a single win to their name. Guam got out to an early lead but at the tail end of the tournament, they were running out of legs. Only having eight active players took its toll on Guam as Tahiti fought back to control the second half and punch their ticket to the Division B final.

In front of a home crowd, Fiji has taken care of a spirited Papua New Guinea team. Fiji lead for the whole game but Papua New Guinea never gave in, they kept putting the pressure on Fiji to take the win, they were not going to give it up.
