Among guests and participants for the quadrennial event will be FIBA President Hamane Niang and Secretary General Andreas Zagklis.

One of the highlights of the Assembly will be the  elections for FIBA Africa's 2023-2027 term.

Up for elections are the following positions: FIBA Africa president, General Treasurer, President of Technical Council and Competitions and the Presidents of Africa's seven Sub-zones.

Once the voting is finished, a specific committee will validate the next FIBA Africa Board.
