MUNICH (Germany) - The SWISH program completed a three-day workshop in Budapest, Hungary in July, in continuation of FIBA Europe's TIME-OUT 2.0 project.

FIBA Integrity Officer, Richard McLaren, was amongst a number of high-profile speakers involved.  Project partners UEFA were represented by Head of Anti-Match Fixing, Vincent Ven, who delivered a workshop on the fight against match-fixing in European football.

The 31 participants from various European National Federations passed a written test at the conclusion of the program and will graduate in a ceremony at the House of Basketball in Mies, in September.

The SWISH program focused on the importance of being compliant with integrity policies and successfully understanding FIBA's regulations.

The additional educational project was introduced alongside the WiLEAD program that both tied into the strategic FIBA pillars of Women in Basketball and Empowerment of the National Federations.

Three webinars also took place as part of the SWISH program, which began in February prior to the recent workshop, which was attended both in-person and virtually.
