    Parker on brink of history

    MONTPELLIER (EuroBasket 2015) - Tony Parker is set to become the all-time leading scorer in the history of the EuroBasket in France's Group A clash with Poland on Monday night in Montpellier.

    MONTPELLIER (EuroBasket 2015) - Tony Parker is set to become the all-time leading scorer in the history of the EuroBasket in France's Group A clash with Poland on Monday night in Montpellier. 

    The France guard needs one more point to be in sole possession of the record for most points in the showpiece. He currently shares the mark with Greece legend Nikos Gallis, with both players on 1,030 points.

    Parker has previously played 61 games in eight separate EuroBaskets and has averaged 17 points in his opening two appearances in the 2015 tournament.

    Galis, part of the Greek side that won the European title in 1987, featured in 33 Finals games during his career.
