Is it Hungary's time at FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Debrecen Stop?

Debrecen (Hungary) - Hosts Hungary will seek their first-ever FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Stop win in front of their home crowd in Debrecen on August 26-27.

The Women's Series never stops. Debrecen will host the 11th stop of the inaugural season, the perfect opportunity for hosts Hungary to win their first-ever title. The hosts - who bring back 3 of the 4 players who won silver at the World Cup 2019 - will be led by Europe Cup 2016 MVP Dora Medgyessy.

Problem is they will face France, who are not only seeking revenge for that semi-final loss at the World Cup. They've also ruled 4 Stops this year already. Migna Toure and company dominate the Women's Series standings with 570 points, 160 more than Canada, who are second.  With the Canadians not playing in Debrecen, France have a chance to stretch their lead in the standings.

World Cup 2018 Winners Italy and MVP Rae Lin D'Alie aka Rae Rae will also be present in Debrecen, with a chance to leapfrog Canada in 2nd place.

Spain, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus and Switzerland will also compete in Debrecen.
