BAGHDAD - The Iraqi Basketball Federation continued its development programme of improving the level of photography with a workshop in Baghdad on Friday.

The workshop was an important illustration of the IBA Communications department’s commitment to supporting the photographers in the country.

"We’ve been working very closely with FIBA’s regional office in Asia to make sure our strategies and goals are aligned," said head of IBA communications Dr. Zain Al Araji. "We organized this workshop with the hope of improving the level of our photographers and the quality of their photos."

With active participation at the heart of the workshop, delegates made the most of the opportunities available to gather information and network with each other.

"There’s a big difference between those who pretend to be professionals and those who really are," said photographer Ali El Saidi.

"We got some valuable information from this workshop," said photographer Abbas Al Soudani. "I want to thank the IBA and FIBA for the continuous support of the photographers in Iraq."

Attendance certificates were also given to the participants.
