FIBA Open returns in its full format

MIES (Switzerland) - The 7th edition of the FIBA Open, the biggest grassroots 3x3 basketball tournament in Switzerland, is set to take place in just a few days on 4 and 5 September.

After a reduced version in 2020 due to the security measures of the time, the 2021 edition of the tournament is back in full force and ready to host over 150 teams.

With 12 different categories over the 2 days, players of all ages and skill levels will have an opportunity to play.

A security concept is being put in place to guarantee the safety of all and to comply with local sanitary measures.

In parallel to the event, the FIBA Headquarters will be open to the public. Visitors will be able to discover the museum and learn more about the history of basketball as well as being the first to discover the fascinating temporary exhibition on the history of sneakers called 'Stepping Strong'.

Teams can still register until September 1st by registering their team here.
