FIBA Open 2021 Postponed

MIES (Switzerland) – The 6th edition of the FIBA Open planned on 19 and 20 June 2021 is being postponed to September 4 and 5.

The 3x3 grassroots basketball event, which is the biggest of its kind in Switzerland and one of the biggest in the world, gathers basketball lovers at the FIBA Headquarters, around courts set up for the event.

Following the announcement of the Swiss Confederation, the event would not have been able to accommodate the 120 teams already registered.

We hope the decision to postpone will make our event inclusive and give everyone the opportunity to practice our beloved sport and that all teams already registered will be available to join us at this new date. For any questions, please send an email to open.3x3@fiba.basketball.

We also hope to surpass our record and have more than 220 teams present at these new dates for a celebration of basketball with women, men and children of all ages.

Registration are open here for the new date in September. With over 12 categories there is truly a space for everyone to play.
