FIBA EuroBasket 2025 top of European Board's agenda in Munich

MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Europe Board convened in Munich, Germany on Monday, March 28, for its spring session.

The members had a full agenda and an important array of matters to consider, ahead of a very busy spring and summer.

The Board also discussed the current situation in Ukraine and how the war affects sport and especially basketball.

After taking into consideration the extremely difficult circumstances and the huge challenges that the country is facing, and as an act of solidarity to the Federation and basketball community of Ukraine, the Board decided to continue exclusive discussions with Ukraine for the hosting of the fourth group of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 until the end of November 2022.
