FIBA's Equipment & Venue Centre has introduced new approved product categories in recent years, including 3x3 approved equipment categories, training products and software. And Avant Sports has joined a group of 20 Equipment & Venue Centre partners that have approval for multiple product categories.

Avant Sports was founded in 1994 in China and with a sales network of 112 countries and regions the company sees having more FIBA approved products as the steppingstone to strengthen their brand and sales reach.

"We have the ambition of being a global name," said Paul Zhou, President of Avant Sports. "Avant Sports has served in the Beijing, Rio and Tokyo Olympic Games and many top global or intercontinental events, and we are delighted to have more products certificated by FIBA this year. The certification of multiple products will help us in achieving our long-term commitment to our customers."

Avant Sports remains committed to promoting basketball as well as popularizing the concept of multi-functional venues. One of their primary goals is to improve the operational efficiency of global venues. Their multi-functional stadium solutions are based on sports wooden flooring and basketball backstops, combined with sports facilities such as movable grandstands, seating systems and movable seats.

One such venue in which Avant Sports was involved in is the Haikou NBA Basketball Training Center, which opened in Haikou City in China in 2021. As the world's largest NBA basketball training center, it contains five indoor courts - three practice courts and two for games - for junior and professional players built with FIBA approved MatriX professional sports wooden flooring. Avant Sports customized the training center which included a telescopic stand, fixed seating, sports flooring, roof-hanging and portable backstop units, all of which are FIBA approved products.

"We believe that by meeting the strict requirements of our testing program, the FIBA approval label, applicable worldwide, helps our partners gain global recognition. We are pleased that Avant Sports identifies with our values and has strengthened its global presence by having three categories approved," said Bart Prinssen, Head of the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre.
