VALENCIA (ACB) - Icelandic international Jon Stefansson has signed for ACB side Pamesa Valencia.

The 23-year-old has signed a two-year deal with an option of a third for last season's Copa del Rey finalists. Stefansson will bolster Pamesa's bid to make next season's ACB play-offs after the Valencia team missed out by just one point last season.

The 1.96m guard won the FIBA Europe League with Dynamo St Petersburg two seasons ago and in the 2005-06 campaign, he averaged 8.5 points per game to help Carpisa Napoli lift the Coppa Italia.
