Following FIBA’s intervention, the club Spartak Moscow Region honoured the FAT award and paid the adjudicated amounts to the player and her agent.

Summary of the case:
The American player Tina Marie Thompson and the player's agent Stephanie Stanley filed a claim against the Russian club Spartak Moscow Region for outstanding salaries, agent's fees and late payment penalties.

Since the contract entered into by the parties in 2007 extended to the 2008/09 season, the Player requested also full payment of the her salaries for the 2008/09 season alleging that the Club had breached the contract.

In its answer, the Club denied the above claims and also raised a counterclaim against the Player for breach of contract.
