Guaros needed overtime to defeat Quilmes 88-85, and earn a ticket to the Final of the Liga Sudamericana. Following intense and high-dramatic 40 minutes, Heisler Guillent hit a three-point shot that forced the game into overtime. Quilmes gave a valiant fight, led offensively by an amazing 27-point performance from Eric Flor, but Guaros took full advantage of an energetic Domo Bolivariano, and went on to win overtime.

Guaros de Lara will face Estudiantes Concordia in Final of the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2017. The best-of-five series to determine the recipient of the Horacio Muratore Cup will start on December 6.
