MEXICO CITY (DIRECTV Liga de las Americas 2019) – Capitanes de Ciudad de México began its preparations to receive Group B of the DIRECTV Liga de las Americas 2019 with very high expectations.

"We know it will be very hard, but we have the home advantage and we have to take advantage of that," said team captain Pedro 'Pery' Meza.

"16 games in January, I think that will be a very strong physical load for us, but we have anticipated that fact and we have been working to get the best possible," said Rigoberto Mendoza.

The Capitanes of Mexico City will serve as hosts of Group B and will receive the visit of the newly crowned DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana Champion Franca Basketball Clube, the Copa de Campeones de Centro America Champion Real Estelí of Nicaragua and the monarchs of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional of Mexico, the Soles de Mexicali.

The second group of the Group Stage of the DIRECTV Liga de las Americas 2019 will be played from January 25-27 at the Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City.
