SAN JUAN (DIRECTV Liga de las Americas) - The International Basketball Federation in the Americas confirmed Barquisimeto, Venezuela as host-city for the DIRECTV Liga de las Americas on 17 and 18 March.

Fuerza Regia (Mexico), Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico), Bahía Blanca (Argentina) and Guaros de Lara (Venezuela) will arrive in the Venezuelan city to determine the Champion of the continent's most important basketball club league in its 2017 edition.

For the second consecutive year, the Domo de Barquisimeto will serve as venue of the Final4, just as it did in the 2016 edition when Guaros de Lara celebrated its first continental title with the team’s fans.

On March 17, Guaros de Lara will face Leones de Ponce and Fuerza Regia will face Bahia Basket.

The winners will then play for the continental title on March 18.

This will be the tenth Final4 of the DIRECTV Liga de las Americas. The first was held in Mexicali, Mexico in which Peñarol lifted the continental title.

The DIRECTV League of the Americas is transmitted through DIRECTV (America - Argentina and Venezuela), Punto2 (Puerto Rico), Sky Sports (Central America) and through the web at livebasketball.tv (subscription required).
