Fanzone set to turn FIBA Intercontinental Cup Singapore into a unique experience

SINGAPORE (Singapore) - The organizers of FIBA Intercontinental Cup Singapore 2023 have devised a wide range of spectacular activities at the Fanzone of the event, aiming to entertain and engage fans of all ages.

The Fanzone activities will get underway at OCBC Square almost concurrently with the opening game of the tournament, on September 21, and will accompany the event during all four days.

Immersive mural installations helmed by ZNC, the renowned Southeast Asian street art crew, will be set up at the heart of the Fanzone and will provide fans with that perfect social-media photo opportunity. Fans will be able to dive into the ultimate basketball experience and enjoy a visual feast everywhere they look: from flooring, to walls, and even containers on site.

Fans will be given the chance to get creative and unleash their inner artist and personalize their basketball kit. With the DIY Basketball Kit fans can paint and customize a ball to their taste - imagination is the only limit. With the DIY custom shirt, fans will be encouraged to elevate their court-side fashion game by designing their own basketball jersey with icons, symbols and letters, then heat-press their design to bring it to life!

A variety of streetball challengeswill be on offer almost non-stop throughout the duration of the tournament. Basketball enthusiasts will be able to take part in 2 on 2 and 4 on 4 streetball games every day, with a big cash prize - and bragging rights, of course - at stake. They will then be able to savor specialties from beloved cafés and local vendors, and wind down by listening to live performances by local music bands.
