Canada's R.J. Barrett was awarded the MVP Award offered by Tissot as he was the tournament's leading scorer with 21.6 points per game to go with 8.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals. Barrett, just three weeks removed from his 17th birthday, collected 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in Canada's 79-60 win over Italy in the final.
