Stats leaders: Which players stood out during the Regular Season?

MUNICH (Germany) - The Regular Season is complete after six weeks of enthralling action and it's time to recognize the players who have been most consistent across a number of different stats categories.

We take a look at the various leaders from the Regular Season action before the competition resumes in a couple of weeks for the Second Round as 16 teams remain.

Efficiency: Cameron Wells (medi Bayreuth)

The American guard missed his side's first and last games of the Regular Season, but still had plenty of time to make a big impact. Wells tops the efficiency chart having recorded just the fourth-ever triple-double in the history of FIBA Europe Cup.

Wells posted 21 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to record the joint-highest efficiency valuation of the season with 35. The performance came in a defeat against London Lions on the road, but it would prove to be the only blemish on medi Bayreuth's record as they sailed through in top spot of Group A with a 5-1 record.

The 33-year-old also posted 18 points along with 7 assists against Donar Groningen with an efficiency valuation of 26 on that occasion with Wells' teammate Martynas Sajus not far behind in second spot on the Regular Season list.

5. Isaiah Reese London Lions 6 20.3

Points: Eugene German (Ionikos BC)

German was not too far away from setting the all-time scoring record for points in a single FIBA Europe game, so it's not surprising to see his name at the top of the charts for the Regular Season.

The 23-year-old is in his first full season as a professional and made his mark with a 37-point haul to lead Ionikos BC to a 90-87 triumph over Sporting CP on Gameday 5, although the margin of victory could not prevent their elimination.

German netted seven of his 18 three-pointers in the Regular Season in that performance and scored at least 20 points in all but one game to help Ionikos to three wins in Group F - also just missing out on the top five in the efficiency rankings.

 5. TJ Shorts HARKO Merlins Crailsheim 6 18.5

Rebounds: Mattias Markusson (Opava)

It may not have been the strongest of FIBA Europe Cup debuts for Opava, but Mattias Markusson will be able to reflect on leading the competition in rebounding as the only player to reach 9.0 boards per game during the Regular Season.

Markusson produced back-to-back double-doubles, starting with a 20-point, 10-rebound display against Parma-Parimatch before following it with 17 points and 11 boards in a five-point loss on the road to Heroes Den Bosch.

The Swedish seven-footer hit another double-digit milestone on Gameday 5 with a 13-rebound contribution to help Opava claim their first victory in the competition as they avenged the aforementioned defeat to Den Bosch with a 16-point home triumph.

Wells dished out 11 in the triple-double display, whilst repeating the feat in the following week with another 11 assists in the first of three straight home wins for the German side. The 33-year-old completed the perfect symmetry with 7 assists in each encounter against Donar Groningen.

And, not only was Wells effective in finding his teammates, but the veteran also knew how to take care of the ball, too, with just five turnovers in four games compared to 36 assists. Radovan Kouril was next on the list with 7.5 assists per game and is actually tied with Wells on the overall season leaderboard.

The 27-year-old forward set the tone in the Regular Season opener with 6 steals along with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, though Sporting suffered a five-point loss at Telenet Giants Antwerp before recording four wins in a row to move into the Second Round.

Lynch's total was slightly bettered by Icelandic international Tryggvi Hlinason, who had 14 blocks for Casademont Zaragoza, though his total was accrued in one extra appearance with Joshua Sharma also finishing with 13 - including two crucial blocks down the stretch on Gameday 6 as Trefl Sopot advanced to the next phase.

However, it's the end of the road for Lynch and Iraklis as they finished with a 1-5 record. Lynch set a season-high with 6 blocks against Mornar Bar having matched his own previous best which came during the Qualifiers as the Greek side battled to secure their Regular Season spot.
