דרוקר: ״אילת מיתגה עצמה בשנים האחרונות כחממה נהדרת לשחקנים צעירים וכמועדון מסודר ורציני. שמח לחזור לקדנציה שניה בעיר אחרי 27 שנים...״ 💙💙 pic.twitter.com/ueVXPCSrOZ
The vacancy at the head coach position will be filled by one of his former assistants Georgi Davidov, who got the promotion with one game remaining in the FIBA Europe Cup.
Lukoil Academic lost theoretical chances of qualifying for the Second Round by losing a close home game against Istanbul BBSK before the international window and their last fixture against U-BT Cluj-Napoca next week will be merely a formality.
The Bulgarian champions currently have the second-best record in the domestic championship at 5-1, sailing to a 95-66 win against Beroe in Drucker's farewell game.
