MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) – All three home teams celebrated victories on Wednesday in the FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-Finals, as Cibona Zagreb, Enisey Krsanoyarsk and Telekom Baskets Bonn treated their fans to first-leg wins.
Earlier in the week, Muratbey Usak Sportif also registered a slender home victory against the visiting Nanterre 92.
CIBONA v ELAN CHALON
Cibona spoiled a record-breaking night for Elan Chalon point guard John Roberson by coming away with an 87-85 victory at the Drazen Petrovic Basketball Hall in the Croatian capital Zagreb.
In a performance worthy of the great Drazen Petrovic himself, the 28-year-old American playmaker knocked down 10-of-11 attempts from downtown for a FIBA Europe Cup all-time high 39 points, also adding 5 assists. The 10 made three-pointers were also a competition all-time high.

However, Cibona made the visitors pay on the other end of the floor, with Scott Reynolds running a tight shift at the point with a double-double of 20 points and 15 assists in addition to 5 steals for the home side.
"This is an important win for us. We showed our real character. I would like to congratulate my players on the attitude they showed tonight. We all gave our best," said the Croatian side's play-caller Damir Mulaomerovic.
"I would like to mention the great game by Roberson, who was great from the very beginning. Nebojsa Joksimovic and Domagoj Bosnjak did a good job trying to stop him."
ENISEY KRASNOYARSK v TELENET OOSTENDE
Anthony Hilliard scored a game-high 20 points and was a difference-maker on both ends for Enisey Krasnoyarsk, guiding the Siberian side to an 84-72 victory against the visiting Telenet Oostende.
After getting off to a dream start, momentum skidded away from the Russian side in the second and third quarters, but coach Oleg Okulov's side picked apart Oostende's defense in the closing frame to secure a double-digit cushion before the second leg.

Frank Elegar registered his seventh double-double of the season, collecting 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Tony Taylor chipped in with 15 points and 4 assists in a victorious effort.
For the visitors, Vincent Kesteloot and Khalid Boukichou were the only players in double figures with 13 and 10 points respectively.

TELEKOM BASKETS v IRONI NAHARIYA
There was far less drama in Bonn, where Telekom Baskets single-handedly dismantled Ironi Nahariya 89-68 in a one-sided game at the Telekom Dome, setting themselves up nicely for the return leg in Israel.
The German side put themselves in a commanding position and set the tone for the rest of the game with a 17-0 run to start the game, a blow the visitors from Israel never recovered from the rest of the way.

Telekom Baskets' center Julian Gamble outworked and outhustled the discombobulated Ironi Nahariya front court all by himself, scoring 25 points on 10-of-11 shooting, grabbing 14 rebounds, dishing out 2 assists and coming up with a steal.
In spite of big performances by John Roberson and Scott Reynolds, it was Gamble who led all players in efficiency with a ranking of 37.
