It was Iris Mbulito who made the game-winning play with just seconds remaining, as Spain kept up their staggering run of having made the last four every edition since 2006.
The shooting of Aina Ayuso in the first-half when she made 4 -of-4 from downtown was similarly important. Spain will play against Netherlands who outpaced Sweden 66-74.
There was disappointment for host nation Hungary as they allowed a 29-point turnaround against Serbia, crashing 73-61.

Serbia had a poor first-half but came alive after the break with some terrific team play. They also had captain Ivana Katanic claim the first triple-double of the tournament with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Italy took the last remaining ticket by sweeping aside Portugal 70-42 and will now face Serbia to fight it out for a pass to the title game on Sunday.
