With results between the top two from each group, those four sides will start at 1-0 when the competition resumes on Wednesday as the battle for promotion heats up.

Croatia stepped up their bid to make an immediate return to Division A with consecutive victories with Josipa Pavic averaging 16.0 points and 17.5 rebounds after two huge double-doubles against Israel and Iceland.

Ireland had reason to celebrate after completing a weekend double over Ukraine and Great Britain with Dayna Finn scoring a combined 38 points in the two wins.

The fourth team still perfect are Turkey as they opened their campaign with a big win over the hosts, Kosovo before Ilayda Guner scored 28 points in an 80-69 triumph against Romania on Sunday.

Holly Winterburn's 25 points led Great Britain past Ukraine 58-53 and they join Israel in Group E - alongside Croatia and Ireland - after they defeated Iceland.

Bulgaria also moved into the Second Round after overcoming Greece in a 64-58 success, while Romania powered their way to a dominant win over Kosovo to complete the Group F lineup with Finland and Turkey.
