Volunteer Program

From July 14-22, 2018, Europe's biggest talents will gather in Chemnitz, Germany for the FIBA U20 European Championship. The German Basketball Federation and the Local Organizing Committee are looking for highly-motivated volunteers to deliver a memorable event at the highest level.

All volunteers will be closely involved and will have the chance to gather invaluable experience, and extend and improve their skills, assisting in the smooth running of the event and turning it into a positive experience for all participants.

Volunteers may be appointed within various fields, with their own skills and interests to be considered where possible. The applicants shall meet the following requirements:

- All applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Enthusiasm and commitment
- Availability at several (preferably all) days
- Good knowledge of German
- Basic knowledge of English (or other languages of the participating teams)
- Valid identity card or passport

The deadline for application is May 20, 2018. All applicants will receive feedback by June 1, at the latest.
