Spain are still to suffer a loss after they stormed past Poland 65-37 to claim top spot in Group A. They were powered by 14 points from Ines-Noguero-Outeiral. Turkey took second place after they stunned the highly fancied Italy 63-60, thanks mainly to a terrific third period, plus Elif Istanbulluoglu and Berfin Sertoglu scoring 13 and 12 points respectively.
Greece were rocked 60-35 by Belgium as the hosts lost for the first time and their opponents picked up their first success. Nastja Claessens netted 14 points for the winning team, but Greece still finished as the lead team in Group B. Latvia beat Czech Republic 69-62 to seal second place in the pool, built on a fine 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals from Enija Viksne.
Lithuania topped Group C as Juste Jocyte and Rusne Augustinaite impressed in the first phase
Lithuania took pole position in Group C after finishing best in a three-way tie. They claimed a 72-56 triumph against Hungary as Juste Jocyte showed her talent with a near triple-double of 17 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Finland won the derby clash with Sweden 76-55 to take runners-up position as Elina Aarnisalo registered a stellar 21 points. 10 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
There has been no stopping France who are yet to lose after finishing a perfect 3-0 record as Group D winners with a one-sided 110-68 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Marine Dursus was a power at both ends of the floor with 19 points and 6 steals. Germany snapped up second place after they strode past Israel 84-58 off the back of a game-high 26 points Nicole Brochlitz
