The quartet of Klaudija Serkeviciute, Livija Sakeviciute, Livija Kaktaite and Karolina Kazociunaite already shared the court with older players in Sopron last summer and will be counted on to take on bigger roles this time around.

Having preserved their spot in Division A with a 9th place finish in the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship 2016, Lithuania's squad will be reinforced by seven 2000-born players, headlined by the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship 2016 standouts Dalia Donskichyte and Gabija Segzdaite.
"We've managed to assemble the squad that we wanted. It is already our third summer in a row with this same core of players. I think that's going to be an advantage for us, as we know our players inside and out," coach Ubartas noted. "We have gifted players in all positions, who have all had solid campaigns either in the Lithuanian top flight or the junior leagues. Our goal now is to build a quality team, both on and off the court."
