Lundquist to lead Sweden’s top flight return bid
ZARAGOZA (FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship Division B 2016) – Klara Lundquist could be Sweden’s saviour at the FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship Division B 2016 in Sarajevo.
The free-scoring guard helped her country to make a return to Division A at last year’s FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship Division B and now she is set to lead another promotion charge having moved up to the U18 side.

Lundquist poured in more than 17 points per game last year and was the team's leader in a staggering four statistical categories, including rebounding, assists and steals.
Although she is not the only player expected to propel Sweden to potential promotion. She is joined on Sweden’s candidate list by the other team-mates who took third place last summer in Ohrid and Struga – a side that was made up entirely of 1999-born players.
Sweden will also benefit from the retention of the team’s joint leading scorer at last year’s FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship Division B 2016 in Ariella Stocklassa who will also provide plenty of good work on the glass.
Sweden have been drawn in Group D and will face Bulgaria, Germany and Scotland.
