TIRANA (Albania) - There have been seven different winners in the past seven editions of the FIBA U16 European Championship, Division C and this year's tournament in Tirana promises yet another unpredictable event.

Out of the nine teams set to compete for the crown in the Albanian capital, the quartet of Andorra, Gibraltar, Malta and San Marino are already part of the rotating cast of recent champions. Meanwhile, the remaining five teams – Albania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Scotland and Wales – would be more than happy to join the club.
