British Finals in the making? Wales and Scotland win their groups in Albania

TIRANA (Albania) - Semi-Finals pairings are set in the FIBA U16 European Championship, Division C, as the four best teams enjoy a day off before entering the Feti Borova - National Olympic Center again.

Wales stormed through Group A with a perfect record in three games, and a +126 in points-difference. Benjamin Woog is the main reason why, he's averaging 16.3 points and 14.3 rebounds per game, done in just 22 minutes per day. Wales defeated Andorra 72-41, Malta 103-31, and Gibraltar 60-37 so far, with Luxembourg now standing in their way in the Semi-Finals.

Luxembourg finished second in Group B with just a single defeat, in a 76-63 game against Scotland. Jonathan Diederich averages 16.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game to lead Luxembourg in both departments, they will need another stellar performance from him if they are to prevent the potential British Finals.

Scotland meanwhile have to do their part, too, on the other part of the bracket. They were 4-0 in Group B, Callum Mortimer needs just 19 minutes per game to score a team-high 17.8 points, but don't forget about Euan Birch and Finley Woodward, who are combining for 30.8 points per event.

If the big three stay productive, Andorra will have a difficult time in the Semi-Finals. The final four phase starts on Saturday, July 20, with Wales and Luxembourg taking the court at 17:30 GMT+02, and Scotland v Andorra following at 19:45 GMT+02.
