UMMC and Kursk seal Final Four spots

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Reigning champions UMMC Ekaterinburg and Dynamo Kursk will proudly line-up in the Final Four next month after getting the respective wins they needed to advance.

Holders UMMC made it 15 straight wins as they marched into the last phase of the competition with another rampant display. Having soared past Schio earlier in the week, 26 points from Diana Taurasi paved the way for a decisive 102-67 success on the road.

Dynamo Kursk took their ticket as they won an exciting shootout at Le Prado 104-92 against Tango Bourges Basket. The unbeaten Russian side made it 16 victories in a row to wrap up a 2-0 series win.

Angel McCoughtry erupted for 33 points, while rising French star Marine Johannes had 28 points in defeat.

Fenerbahce and Nadezhda missed the opportunity to make a quick return to the Final Four, having both featured in the 2016 edition. Both clubs will have to play a series-deciding game on Tuesday, with the former swept aside 76-66 at Perfumerias Avenida.

Pabellon Wurzburg was bouncing in appreciation of the hosts' efforts as they torched their opponents from long-range, with Jelena Milovanovic hitting five triples en-route to 22 points. Veteran center Erika De Souza added 13 points and 12 boards in the paint.

Meanwhile, Nadezhda went down 64-55 at ZVVZ USK Prague as they were punished for their slow start and struggled to recover as Candice Dupree plundered a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side.
