EuroLeague Women - Round-up

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - There is just one perfect record remaining in the competition after Dynamo Kursk came from behind to make it six wins from six on Wednesday.

Trailing by seven early in the fourth, Dynamo Kursk went on an 11-0 run and stretched away before finishing as 75-79 victors at Famila Schio.

Angel McCoughtry finished with a team-high 18 points and 8 rebounds to help her side continue their winning start at the top of Group A.

"We had luck: In this kind of game you need to fight until the end and our shooting average was the key of this win," mused Kursk head coach Lucas Mondelo following the close escape.

Reigning champions UMMC Ekaterinburg were ruthless on the road with an emphatic 59-88 win away at Nadezhda to start the day’s proceedings.

Diana Taurasi led the way with a 15-point haul as the top two teams are now level with 5-1 records in Group B.

Fenerbache came from as many as 13 points down to hand ZVVZ USK Prague their second straight defeat as Sandrine Gruda recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds in the 75-71 triumph.

Uni Gyor were unable to follow up last week's first win as they went down 58-65 at home to BLMA, who were led to victory by Gaelle Skrela’s 17 points.

Two teams remain without a win to their name as CCC Polkowice and Mersin were beaten on the road to drop to 0-6 in their respective groups.

Mersin came the closest to an historic win as they led by three heading into the final three minutes, but ultimately came up short as Wisla Can-Pack secured a 59-56 victory.

Alina Iagupova ensured there were no concerns for ESBVA-LM after netting a season-high of 37 points as the home side turned on the style in the second half to see off Polkowice, 75-55.

In the final game of the day, Perfumerias Avenida closed in on the top two in Group B after beating Bourges Basket 63-50 to improve to 4-2 as Krisi Givens top scored with 17 points.
