Larkins claims Top Performer honors in EuroCup Women 2017 swansong

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) - Virtus Eirene Ragusa late-season signing Erlana Larkins has taken Top Performer honors in what will be her final appearance in the competition this season.

The center managed a 19-point, 18-rebound double-double for an efficiency of 33, but it was not enough for her Italian club to upset Galatasaray and continue their run in European action.

Joining her up front with her second appearance in the team in as many weeks is Belgian legend Ann Wauters. The veteran was once again immense for Bellona Agu, as the Turkish club saw off Uni Girona 85-54 to continue their time in Europe. Wauters was responsible for 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Wauter's team-mate Chelsea Gray fills out the wing spot, thanks to her 23 points and 7 assists, earning her, like Wauters, an efficiency of 22.

Needing to overcome a nine-point first leg deficit against Reyer Venezia, Yakin Dogu Universitesi needed someone to step up big and that is exactly what playmaker Courtney Vandersloot did, guiding her side to a 66-45 win with 21 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 steals.

Also starring in the Yakin Dogu backcourt was Kayla McBride, managing 21 points and 6 rebounds to join Vandersloot on the Top Performers team.
