About The event

The FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup Latvia Qualifier 2017 takes place in Riga, Latvia on 5-6 August 2017. This event qualify 6 men's teams and 5 women's team to the 3x3 U18 European Cup in Debrecen, Hungary, on 1-3 September. 

It's the third consecutive time that Latvia hosts a 3x3 U18 Europe Cup Qualifier after the two previous editions in 2015 and 2016.

Contrary to the "open" network of tournaments (which includes the FIBA 3x3 World Tour), players taking part in the FIBA 3x3 U18 Europe Cup do not create the team themselves, but instead are selected by their national federations to represent their countries.

In order to be eligible, players who compete in the 3x3 U18 Europe Cup must have a confirmed account on play.fiba3x3.com and have the nationality of the country they represent. All players must also be born after 1 January 1999.
