The second edition of the FIBA 3x3 U18 European Championships will take place in Debrecen, Hungary.

The event will be played outdoors in the heart of the city, on Kossuth Square, in front of the iconic Reformed Great Church from 9 to 11 September 2016.

With approximately 248,000 inhabitants, Debrecen is the second biggest city in Hungary after Budapest. Debrecen is the regional centre of the Northern Great Plain region and the capital of Hajdú-Bihar county.

Debrecen is always worth a trip. A large number of the main attractions and sights are to be found at the northerly end of the Piac Utca (Piac Street), inter alia the Neo-classical Reformed Great Church.

Further leading tourist attractions are located within the Nagyerdei Park, where one can enjoy boating on the lake and a stroll along the various trails, before cooling off at the Aquaticum water park. Nagyerdei Park also features its very own zoo and theme park, featuring a range of family orientated fairground rides.
