Voting for EuroLeague Women Awards tips off

MUNICH (Germany) - Voting for the EuroLeague Women Awards 2021-22 is now open, with fans presented with the unique opportunity to have their say and support their favorite players and coaches.

The annual EuroLeague Women Awards, headlined by the prestigious Most Valuable Player accolade and the All-EuroLeague Women 1st and 2nd Team selections, feature seven different categories with candidates nominated by FIBA Europe's panel of experts.

The winners of the individual awards will be decided after combining the votes of EuroLeague Women coaches, selected media, the fans and, for the first time, the team captains of each club.

The 2022 edition will also see the introduction of the Proudly Woman Award, to be presented to the club that has done the most in promoting the values at the core of the newly-launched campaign through various activities such as charity initiatives, digital content and in-arena activations.

The categories for the 2021-22 EuroLeague Women Awards are as follows:

- EuroLeague Women Most Valuable Player
- All-EuroLeague Women 1st Team
- All-EuroLeague Women 2nd Team
- EuroLeague Women Coach of the Year
- EuroLeague Women Young Player of the Year
- EuroLeague Women Defensive Player of the Year
- Proudly Woman Award

Fan voting is now open and will run until 23:59 CET on Sunday, March 27.

The winners will be presented with the awards at the EuroLeague Women Final Four.

How Fans Can Vote:

Fans can vote for the EuroLeague Women Awards on the official EuroLeague Women website by filling out one ballot per device every 24 hours.

When making their All-EuroLeague Women selections, fans can choose up to two backcourt and three frontcourt players. For other awards, only one selection per category is allowed.
